Aussi dans ma To Do List, le Metropolitan Museum. Je ne sais pas trop celui-là plutôt qu'un autre grand musée new-yorkais, en fait. Déjà, le nom est classe. Et il me semblait plus "omnivore" que le MoMA, par exemple. Bref. La bonne nouvelle dans tout ça ? Le Met abrite aussi le "Costume Institute". Bring it, American Galliera !
Le thème de l'exposition temporaire était "Death Becomes Her", soit les costumes de deuil. Miam.

I am sorry this one is blurred, but I included it because the dress featured belonged to Queen Victoria. I you guessed correctly that the first picture is from the 1820s, then added ten years for each picture, this one is now from the 1890s. |
